"When 'I' is replaced with 'We', even the illness becomes wellness." - (Malcolm X)
PLACE & PURPOSE
Misunderstandings of mental health illnesses are a global issue. This installation was displayed at the university exhibition located in Northampton town centre. This piece responds to the wide amount of misconceptions, through an anamorphic sculpture of a human skull made out of cardboard. Cardboard is used as a visual metaphor or how much stronger people would be if we come together to tackle the issue - as a singular piece of cardboard is not as strong on it's own as it is with multiple layers attached.
